Print it yourself

3D printers we recommend

Many of the jigs, knobs, and clips on this site can be printed at home instead of sent to a shop. These are Bambu Lab machines. This page does not quote prices or copy a spec sheet. The official page is the source for both.

Product links were checked on bambulab.com in November 2026. Lineups change. If a link is wrong, use Bambu Lab’s own printer list. A short commission note sits under each link, and the full statement is on the affiliate disclosure.

Nothing here is a ranking. An enclosed printer is not automatically a better buy than an A1 mini if the part is small and the material is ordinary PLA.

A1 mini

A first printer for a small desk, and for clips, knobs, and jigs that fit a compact machine. Bambu presents it as a pre-assembled printer with automatic calibration. Bed size and the current bundle are on their page.

A1

The same open-frame, beginner-oriented style as the mini when the part needs more room. Compare the two on Bambu’s site before you assume the A1 is only a larger mini.

P1S

An enclosed workhorse for materials that prefer a closed chamber. Bambu’s own P1 page says fiber-reinforced filament wants an extruder and hotend upgrade on the P1S. Read that note before you buy one for carbon-filled parts.

X1C

The enclosed X1-series machine on Bambu’s X1 page (the page also lists an X1). Useful if you want that series’ lidar monitoring. It is not automatically the current top model. Compare it with the H2 printers on their site.

X1E

A workplace printer. Bambu describes it for professional and engineering use, with Ethernet and a mode that runs on the local network without their cloud. Read their network section rather than taking that as a security audit.

H2D

One machine Bambu sells as a dual-nozzle printer that can also laser, cut, and plot. Those extra tools have their own safety rules on Bambu’s site. This page does not repeat them.

P2S

The newer enclosed P-series printer. Bambu describes it as the follow-on to the P1S and says the nozzle and extruder gears are hardened for fiber-reinforced filament. Confirm that against the materials you actually print.

H2S

A large-format enclosed printer when the part is bigger than a desktop bed. Bambu also sells laser capability on some H2S editions. Check which edition is on the page before you count on cutting.

H2C

Multi-material printing if you want Bambu’s hotend-changing approach instead of purging a single nozzle between colors. Their page is the place to see how that differs from the H2D and H2S.
